Inspired by Life. Driven by Story

I make films for humans — you know, the wonderfully irrational kind who cry with laughter, talk to dogs, and binge-watch documentaries they never meant to start. Sometimes they even throw tantrums. As a Director & Writer working across Branded Content and Broadcast, I try to craft stories that feel like life, not marketing — intelligent (I like to think so), carefully shaped, and occasionally recognised by Cannes Dolphins, New York Festivals and EVCOM.

What I bring

I learned the ropes in factual television — directing prime-time series for BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Discovery and Sky working with talent like Joanna Lumley, Piers Morgan and Heston Blumenthal. That world taught me how to turn complex subjects into television people actually want to watch. Today, I bring that same storytelling craft to branded films — creating short-form content that grabs attention, makes sense of the complicated, and connects on a human level.

I’m a storyteller with a split personality — part journalist, part filmmaker — always hunting for emotional truth to shine a light on. Whether it’s thirty seconds or eight episodes, my goal’s the same: to make people feel something real.

I’ve served as a jury member on the BAFTA Documentary Panel, and I’m a returning lecturer at The BBC Academy, where I teach directing and scriptwriting. Outside of work, I’m a keen cyclist exploring the gravel trails of the New Forest, and a committed dog lover. My two dogs think I’m brilliant — what’s not to love?
